Buckeyes
Bryan K., Oliver of the Dominique Club of America sent these old pictures from the Reliable Poultry Journal of July, 1914 of the Buckeye breed. He also informed me of a new Yahoo group, Buckeye Breeders, http://us.rd.yahoo.com/evt=42879/*http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BuckeyeBreeders.

ReplyDeleteGlad to find this blog and loved the old pics of the Buckeyes -- Have just started a small flock in Arkansas. The chicks seem to be as lively as promised. They were actively chasing (and catching) crickets at age of 4-5 days! Will be writing about them on my garden blog soon...
